This album is strongly recommended to all fans of especially melodic deathmetal, but also metal in general. All the other songs have great guitarwork (riffs, chordlines and melodies/solos), drumming and great growling/vocals in common. Other highlights on the album are the titletrack "Into The Halls of The Blind", "Awakening of The Gods" and "Eye of The Serpent", the latter being a calm instrumental piece, with a dark touch. The intro, played on a hurdy-gurdy ("nyckelharpa"), creates a superb ambience, followed by heavy guitaring and riffs, accompanied by excellent drums. Track number two ("In Blood We End") will, if the first track already hasn't, most likely grab anyone's full attention. The production is excellent, save for that the recording-volume is quite low which can get annoying, but it's not the end of the world. If I would write solely according to my own opinion and the feelings I get whenever I listen to this album, I would give it 100/100.
